Who I am

La Bottega del Sole was born in January 2016,
after a very troubled moment in my life.

A very important story had recently ended and I found myself alone, with no prospects for the future.
It was a turning point in my life where
I finally stopped from everyday life, finding myself in a new condition and time, where time passed slowly and thoughts, instead, flowed quickly.

In a short time, the passions of the past resurfaced, the passion for colours, for natural stones, and for everything I could create with my hands, gifts that passed on to me two figures who were fundamental to me: my father, a a goldsmith and watchmaker who, with his own hands, repaired any jewel or watch that came to hand and my mother, who has always been creative by passion, who still makes wedding favors, cushions, home decorations and much, much more.

As a child I often went to the shop with my dad and got lost among the thousand glitters of jewels in his windows.
I helped him make customer packages and admired him while, sitting at his workbench, he handled pliers, mechanisms and springs.
My curiosity skyrocketed when he took all those crazy jewels out of the safe and I asked him a thousand questions about the materials and stones used!
However, life did not immediately lead me to take this path: first I became an expert for tourism, then I enrolled in economics and commerce, but I abandoned my studies with 6 exams to go to undertake a social path.
Finally, I found a job in the commercial sector and stayed there for 7 years.
But the shop was always with me.
Initially it was just a hobby, an escape from the thousand thoughts of everyday life.
Then the shop grew to become what it is today.
The continuous search for stones, processing techniques, continuous experiments and tests allow me to constantly improve.

My great strength comes precisely from the possibility of being able to create the jewel of your dreams, customizing it in (almost) all its characteristics.

My customers contact me and buy every day, and this is the greatest incentive for me to always try to create the best, at the best.

 This site is dedicated to my dad, who has no longer been with me since January 10, 2021.

I started thinking about wanting to make the shop a real job a few days after this sad date, partly out of necessity to distract myself from my thoughts, partly because in a moment of total uncertainty, I felt the need to find a way to feel like my dad is still alive.

My dad was my biggest hero, even if sometimes we couldn't stand each other, but he always supported and encouraged me, even when I happened to disappoint his expectations.

They are part of this crazy project: my son Riccardo and my almost husband Alberto.

But there are other people to whom I am infinitely grateful... wonderful people who work every day with commitment and passion, people who have allowed this company to become a point of reference for many, thanks to their professionalism: just to name a few, Federica , Daniela, Davide, Roberta, Giada, Jessica, Elisa, Alice, Marta.
